The Environment and Food Committee of Asharqia Chamber, which is chaired by Talal Bin Sulaiman Al-Rasheed, held an expanded meeting of the sector on Tuesday 30 October 2018 at the headquarter of the Chamber.
Al-Rasheed said that the meeting had a qualitative presence by investors in the sector and those interested parites.
He also listened to the participations and interventions of some specialists who enriched the meeting with information and opinions serving the sector's employees.
Al-Rasheed said that the Committee is keen to follow up all that would develop the mechanism of work in the sector through several steps starting with the meetings of the Committee and through the program of external visits to meet officials in order to discuss closely about the challenges facing investors and workers in the environment and food, in addition to hosting specialists in workshops and lectures to clarify the mechanisms of work and to formulate appropriate solutions to any obstacles facing the sector.
The meeting also reviewed several topics, including environmental awareness to reduce environmental pollution in the region, paving roads in the region's farms, strengthening agricultural irrigation banks in the region, and finally the agricultural marketing.
